This is the place where I try out and share web technologies that I learn and come across. The start page is a sort of social personalized homepage, inspired by popular AJAX start pages Google IG and PageFlakes and an intranet portal @ office, built by Mr.Praveen Reddy(Technical Architect, my friend & one of my gurus). Users can drag and drop the widgets and change the layout as required(Works fine in Firefox but few bugs exist in IE...will be rectified soon). They can add new widgets, delete existing ones, minimize the widgets,change themes and save the layout(based on cookies as of now). These widgets fetch news from various sites using RSS feeds. The entire site is designed such that no post backs occur. The technologies used are jQuery, ASP.NET AJAX and jayRock. More info on the process in which this site is built is described in my blog.
